Wash on its own before first use. Machine wash cold, and avoid bleach. Tumble dry on a warm setting if needed, though line drying inside out gives the best results. Ironing isn't necessary, but if you'd like to, use a cool iron on the reverse side of the fabric only. Do not dry clean.

The elasticated edges pull snugly into place in a couple of minutes, so there's no lifting, no re-making the bed afterwards, and no disruption if you're covering multiple beds in a guesthouse or lodge.

  • Will it fit my bed base? What sizes are available?

    Our base covers are available across the standard South African bed sizes — single, 3/4, double, queen and king — and are cut to comfortably fit standard divan base depths. If your base is deeper than average (common with storage bases or higher-profile divans), let us know your base's height, width and length when enquiring so we can match you to the right fit or an extra-length option.

  • Are bed base covers machine washable, and will they hide stains or wear?
